butterfly-totem-temp-300Over the next 20 weeks I will be writing a series of articles entitled 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment that I intend to turn into an expanded book on the subject. Some of these tips are powerfully life enhancing and are truly meant to be practiced for soul growth. I call these areas of life mastery that we are here to recall. I’ll point these out along the way. Ideally these are the keys for living an enlightened, joyful life of abundance. The other tips will be what I call uplifting actions that will open the passage way for new beginnings. They are ways to “reach for relief” when times are tough as I learned from the teachings of Abraham–a wise group of non-physical Beings who speak through the conscious channel Ester Hicks. You can find out more about their teachings by visiting their website www.Abraham-Hicks.com. When we take action in a mindful way that attends to our truest needs, we always feel relieved. Actions that “reach for relief,” or thinking that lightens our spirits, all fall in the category of soul re-alignment.

It is my wish that you will attract to you the Healing Tips or inspired actions that will guide you in your journey of transformation. Keep in mind that these are tips that feel good to me and that I feel are life enhancing when taken in moderation. Your greatest resource is always inside of you, so always follow what feels good to you until a solution arises within you. Remember not to escape your problems through this feeling good, but use these tools to come back to a more relaxed, calm you so you can then focus your attention on the solution. All solutions lie within and you have the power to access them. I’ve grown to appreciate these healing methods as my ways of revealing that which is most beneficial for me to act upon, move toward or embrace in my journey. The bottom line is that life is a journey to be explored, so have fun exploring these tips and listen to your guidance in all that you embark upon and experience.

Article 11: 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment

51. Get Appropriate Amounts of Sunshine Everyday
This healing tip is one that many of us take for granted especially when our days are rushed and full of projects and work. Studies have proven that sunlight stimulates the release of serotonin which is known to elevate one’s mood. In addition to this, studies have also proven that moderate sunlight can actually help to heal bowel disorders, certain skin diseases, sadness and depression, diabetes and even cancer. When I’m outdoors I often intend to receive the Sun’s Love. It is my belief that everything has consciousness including plants, animals, planets and even the Sun. Because I believe this, I also believe that we can ask the Sun to assist us in healing and to help maintain our abundant health and well-being. It may be a leap of faith for some of you, but when you look into quantum physics a little, you will see that everything is energy and energy has purpose behind it. Science is even beginning to prove the power of our conscious intentions to change gene receptors and to heal our bodies. Getting healthy doses of the “Sun’s Love” each day could be just the thing to de-stress you, elevate your mood or heal your body. Just take the leap of faith and start enjoying at least 10 minutes of sunshine everyday. If it’s too hot, then try only 5. For longer exposure, I recommend that you use an organic sunscreen that is good for the skin. This world that we live in contains everything that we need to grow and be healthy, so take advantage of the sunshine that is life giving.

52. Learn to Honor Yourself and Others
Honoring yourself is a learned habit that can be very healing especially if you were surrounded by people growing up who had no sense of self respect. Honoring yourself is about treating yourself with respect, and in some ways, about tending to your needs and keeping your promises to yourself. Honoring others comes more naturally when you truly honor yourself. Learning to honor yourself is related to your second chakra (an energy portal that regulates the organs in the area of lower abdomen among other things). If you learn to honor yourself and others, you actually can begin to heal some issues related to this part of your body. You truly have to give yourself permission to love and honor yourself everyday. Sometimes, in dysfunctional relationships, it’s necessary to set boundaries in order to honor yourself. Perhaps you need to set personal boundaries like drinking less alcohol, watching less TV, or setting time limits on how much Facebook and email time you attend to when you have other priorities. Setting these personal boundaries honors your promises to yourself to stay healthy, to accomplish a goal or focus on your dreams.

Lastly, please don’t feel bad about yourself for not honoring your commitments, sometimes we do need to evaluate our commitments and stop over committing ourselves to things that do not fulfill us. Sometimes we also make promises to ourselves and others with full integrity of wanting to keep them but there is some unconscious belief that keeps us in self-destructive patterns. Recognizing the pattern is most important and then following through on re-engineering your beliefs in some way will assist you in stopping the self sabotage. This can be done in many ways and some of those ways I have expressed in this article series. I’ll be sharing more about this throughout the series as well. Just remember, that anything is possible and you have the power within yourself to return to a sense of honor of all life if you are willing to change.

53. Organize and Thrive
When we are surrounded by chaos in our lives, especially environmental, it’s often healing to get organized. Chaos in our lives is the product of chaotic thinking and emotional chaos. Organizing our mess, helps to restore order not only to our environment, but to our minds. We all know that a lack of organization can feel very overwhelming. Overwhelm can lead to chronic fatigue, apathy and even depression. Getting organized can set you free to make decisions with greater clarity and wisdom. Chaos in your environment is very de-stabilizing to the body and mind. It actually can effect the root chakra (energy portal at the tail bone area) and cause issues in the legs, feet, groin, end of spine area, bones and immune system. It upsets our firm foundation in life and the natural rhythm of healthy growth.

Getting organized is also a wonderful way to honor yourself. All life wants to thrive and putting things into Divine Order can only help you to thrive. Remember that you need a clear mind to effectively manifest what you desire in life. If your mind is unclear and it begins to reflect into your environment, then your body will begin to feel this chaos and want to put order to it. The longer you wait, the worse your body will feel. Make organizing your life a habit in everyday. Clear the clutter around your desk and home everyday. As a suggestion, get into the habit of setting your priorities for each day. I suggest choosing only 3. When you complete those 3, then choose another 3. This may help you to release the sense of overwhelm. Take small steps and if you need help, there are people on Earth who have the Soul gift of Divine Order and have organizing businesses. Just make the call and find the time. No excuses! You are meant to thrive and prosper!

54. Make a Plan to Pay Off Any Financial Debts
Financial debts can weigh very heavily on our minds and our hearts which will effect our ability to attract financial abundance into our life. When we lack financial security, it makes our life less stable and this upsets the balance in our homes and often our relationships. Depending on what your attitude is about your financial debt, it can also lead to physical issues that destabilize your body as well. Making a financial plan to resolve your debt can help you to feel more secure about your future. Here are some suggestions for this process to be successful:

1. Lovingly take responsibility for the state of your finances right now. Money can be one of the grandest teachers and an asset to your soul growth. It teaches you to look at your patterns and belief systems so you can learn to be a better steward of money as energy in motion that has the potential to grow.

2. Choose to forgive yourself and/or all involved. Holding on to blame, shame, guilt, resentment, fear or lack mentality of any kind serves no one. Forgive and move on.

3. Check in with your heart and see what beliefs you need to embrace to release the debt and have financial stability. Don’t dwell in the negative but take time to be honest with yourself and be willing to BE the solution. Our life mirrors what we believe and habituate to. Change the beliefs and habits, and you change your life.

4. Get help from a financial advisor, friend, pastoral service and/or debt reduction service. There are all kinds of creative solutions that God and the Universe have given us that will help you too. Do the research and see what solution feels the best to you. You’re not alone in this, people want to help.

5. Everyday, make it a habit to see the abundance that you have in your life now. Abundance comes in all forms. It comes in the form of gifts from friends, smiles, compliments, blessings, good friendship, love, appreciation and the list goes on.

6. Take a class on financial management and learn new money habits so you can feel “money fit” moving forward. Changing your perspective in ways that are empowering, will assist you in following through on your plan and ultimately healing the core issues that got you here in the first place.

55. Call Upon Your Angels and Spirit Guides
As a Divine Messenger, I believe that everyone has Angels and Spirit Guides that will assist you with any issues that you are experiencing. I’ve had such wonderful inspirations from my Angels and Guides not only for my soul growth and healing but for others as well. There are all kinds of Angels and Guides with so many different purposes. Some of our Angels and Guides are with us from the time we are born and remain with us throughout life. Others come at our request or to teach us when we take on certain roles in society. For instance, when I decided to be a practitioner of Reiki, I was assigned Reiki healing Guides to assist me with my own healing and in my service to others. Your Angels and Guides are evolved, Enlightened Beings that serve the greater good but they won’t intervene on your behalf unless you ask them too. Of course they will not make decisions for you but they will assist you in solving the issues at hand.

You can send your requests in the form of a prayer, invocation or question. All forms are welcomed. It’s easier to receive their responses when you are feeling good and quiet in the mind. However, usually when we most need them is when we’re not feeling so well. Regardless, you can still ask them for help and they will find a way to assist you. Sometimes it will be in the form of a dream, or a friend might drop by and give you the solution you wanted. You could even have books come your way, fall off the shelf or strange emails come your way with just what you need. Their resources are endless. Just put in your request and detach from the outcome. Having faith in them is most important as faith is a higher vibration then fret. The vibration of faith and hope will actually begin to turn your attitude around enough to get you back into contentment. From here you are much more receptive to their inspirations. Our Angels and Guides love us and want to serve us, so don’t forget these Heavenly Resources when you have something you want to heal or transform in your life.
