We are getting to the end of this article series and I hope that you’ve found them to be enjoyable or at least informative. Remember that many of these healing tips are ways to relax yourself, reach for relief from your stress and struggles so you can then begin to face the issues at hand from a benevolent place of grace and hopefully wisdom.

It is my wish that you will attract to you the Healing Tips or inspired actions that will guide you in your journey of transformation in the best way possible. Keep in mind that these are tips that feel good to me and that I feel are life enhancing when taken in moderation. Your greatest resource is always inside of you, so always follow what feels good to you until a solution arises within you. All solutions lie within and you have the power to access them. I’ve grown to appreciate these healing methods as my ways of revealing that which is most beneficial for me to act upon, move toward or embrace in my journey. The bottom line is that life is a journey to be explored, so have fun exploring these tips and listen to your guidance in all that you embark upon and experience.

Article 15: 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment

71. Treat Yourself with Respect and Appreciation
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to treat others with respect and appreciation but when it comes to treating ourselves this way, we often fall short. This week try to treat yourself as you would your best friend or your mentor in life. Appreciate all the things that you accomplished in your life, all the things that are good about you and all the good things that you share with the world. Appreciate your legs for the strength that they give you to stand and walk, and appreciate the life giving breath that you take into your lungs. You can always find something to appreciate about yourself with a little effort.. You can also list all the things that you admire and respect about yourself and say good things about yourself during the day. When you make a mistake, pat yourself on the back and celebrate the growth spurt you’ve arrived at and respect how quickly you learned, how courageous your are and you’re ability to transform this “perceive failure” into a win for yourself. Keep your commitments to yourself as best as you can and listen to your body and it’s needs. This is a great sign of respect for it’s intelligence. When you lack respect for yourself, notice where it comes from. Who’s belief is this? Is it valid? When you stop and ask yourself these questions, you literally change the belief to that which is true– you are respectable and appreciated; you are worthy!

72. Reprogram Your Behavior and Responses
When you keep having the same negative behaviors and responses to situations, then it’s time to really switch into training yourself to have new, healthy responses. We all have things that emotionally trigger us into negative responses. For instance, when some people get stressed, they will reach for a piece of chocolate. Chocolate contains sugar and cocoa and both stimulate the brain. Chocolate can also cause serotonin responses in the brain which make you happy. When you think about it too, it’s a response of “reaching for the sweetness in life” as well. However, this type of response is really a temporary “fix” for the larger problem of what is causing the stress. So the key is to get to the cause of the stress, acknowledge it and reprogram the emotional triggers, beliefs or thought patterns that cause you to become stressed.

There are so many brilliant ways to do this and new ways keep arising as we ask for them. This will always be true in this attractive base Universe. I would recommend these three to start with—hypnosis, emotional freedom technique (EFT or tapping) and subliminal CD’s. With hypnosis you are relaxed into a state of being that is similar to that state just before you fall asleep. In this state, your subconscious and unconscious mind can be imprinted with suggestions that will assist you in overcoming any stress, addiction or emotional responses and traumas. With EFT you are accessing the emotion and then tapping on certain acupressure points while making statements that assist in the gentle release of the emotions and then tapping in the new statements that are healthier and more supportive. Lastly, subliminal CD’s are usually used during meditation or played while you are sleeping. In the foreground there is gentle music or sounds and in the background, playing almost inaudibly, are positive affirmations. The theory here is that the subconscious mind will be programmed into new beliefs.

Please know that these modalities are not my area of expertise but I have used them on myself with success, particularly the first two. I highly recommend that you do your own research if you are intrigued by any of these. At a minimum they will aid you in allowing new thought patterns to instinctively arise that support you in having less stress responses in your life. However, they could assist you in creating great transformation in your life as well.

73. Love Your Ego; it is Divine
In this Universe, what you push against, shun, battle with or find no beauty in only grows to be more of a force to be reckoned with. Many people feel that our ego self needs to be transcended and in so doing they view it as “bad”. They push against what is naturally a part of the totality of our human expression. Our ego is a part of our human psyche that aids in the development of our personal identity and personality. It represents our sense of self. Some spiritual philosophies teach the transcendence of the human ego or personal identity so that the transpersonal identity can become more fully integrated. To me it’s healthy to have a sense of self, that is both personal and transpersonal, working together for the benefit of the whole. This can only be done when we see the good in all parts of our self and love ourselves completely without judgement. What we love is always made whole. If you battle against the parts of yourself that are darker or incongruent, unruly or limiting, then this will grow. It simply is the Law in this Universe that what you put your attention on grows. If you simply see your shadow side, or personality weaknesses, as gifts that indicate what you desire to strengthen in this journey, then your ego will rise to the occasion of the Soul’s wishes and become a harmonious expression of your Divinity. Try this perspective change out for a while and see what your ego can teach you about the potential of your humanity and Divinity.

74. Make a Life Plan that Supports Your Dreams in Life
Every vision or dream needs a good firm foundation to grow from. A life plan is a great way to support the garden of your destiny. Anything that we want to build in life, would require us to have some sort of plan to work from. Ideally, you would want this plan to be Divinely Inspired so that you go into flow with Universe rather than against it. Some people feel that inspiration only comes to the spiritually adept, but this is not the case. Everyone has access to a sixth sense in the form of their gut instincts and in the form of what feels good to them. So if you’re like me and planning is not your gift, then go with the plan that feels good to you right now. You can also hire someone or get help from someone who is a really good planner. Either way, make sure that the plan feels light, easy to implement and that you’re excited to get started. In this way, the plan is fired by Spirit. Building and actuating a plan can be a very empowering process as well. Remember it doesn’t have to be elaborate or in depth, and it certainly is malleable. Just make sure that it reflects a solid base from which to build from and touches on all areas of your life (financial, health, vocation, relationships, spiritual). From here, if it feels good to you, you can add some goals or intents to work from.

Why is this healing or transformational? Because without focus and clarity, we tend to be overwhelmed and confused. We feel unstable in our dreams and we lag behind the energy that we set forth in our vision to start with. Ultimately, inspired plans help to bring focus to your vision and assist you in feeling more secure, responsible and aligned with the rhythm of the intelligent world around you.

75. Massage Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Foot Massages
When all else fails, get a massage! I’m laughing as I type this because it really is what the doctor ordered sometimes. Massages are a great way to move energy through the body and to relieve stress and tension stored in the muscles. Our lymphatic system is very important to the health of our nervous system, digestive system and immune system just to name a few, so anything we do to support it will have a positive health benefit. We are also meant to experience all of our senses and to receive pleasure through them. So a therapeutic massage can be a great way to delight in our senses. Ask the masseuse to use essential oils for a more relaxing experience if they have them. Massages can also be very beneficial to people who have intimacy issues as it can assist them with opening up to human touch.

Foot massages are a great way to treat yourself when you can’t find the time for a full body massage or your funds are low. When we massage our feet, we are actually massaging our entire glandular system and organs as there are points on the bottom and top of your feet that relate to these body parts. You can easily print off a reflexology chart online to learn more about these points especially for healing purposes. A foot massage can also be a very grounding experience and help to bring you back into “sure footing” in the world. No matter what type of massage you decide to get, know that you are really helping your body to rejuvenate and restore balance.
