Article 18: 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment

86. Play Like a Child
We all have an inner child aspect of ourselves that I wrote about in previous articles. Hopefully you were able to take some time and do some journaling with your inner child. If you did, you’re inner child may have expressed to you that she wants to come out and play more. As children we are innocent, alive, imaginative and excited with the world. We always want to know “what’s next” because we are eager to experience life and have fun doing it. We want to create, run, hide, skip and act silly because the world is silly and it’s fun! As adults we get so caught up in our adult paradigms and thinking that we forget to see the world through the eyes of our child. We lose our sense of wonder and amazement because it’s colored by the self imposed rules, limits and disconnection from our Source that we place upon ourselves.
Waking up our inner child, wakes up a very Holy Aspect of our Divine Consciousness. For many, just taking time to sit with children and play with them, will unlock their inner child and guide them back to that lost sense of amazement and wonder with the world. We are meant to play with reckless abandonment at times and experience the inhibition of our child. Wonder can turn to adult curiosity in the world and we can play outside the boundaries of our adult attitudes. For those of you who were around when the TV show Friends was popular, there was an episode when Jennifer Aniston’s character ran in central park with reckless abandonment. It was so funny to watch that I laughed out loud. Her arms and legs were going in all different directions and she didn’t have a care in the world nor did she care what others thought of her. I’ve actually done this myself and it was really freeing. My inner child was happy and it made the people around me laugh too. Only good can come from this exercise so set yourself free and let your child play!
87. Join a Self Help Group
A self help group is a great way to get emotional support when you really want to transform your life. Sometimes we just can’t do it alone and it’s nice to have uplifting, supportive people guiding you through the murky waters of your life into the clear waters. We all want to be supported in our dreams, aspirations and intentions. I know that my spiritual community has been a great comfort to me but more than this, they have inspired and influenced me back into alignment with my fullest potential when I truly needed it. Know that finding a self help group is not about finding a group that buys into your emotional story or self pity and joins you there sympathetically. It’s about finding a group of people that want to support your transformation and the rewriting of the old story so the new version of you can take center stage in your life. It’s a group that will give you a hand up in your time of need so you can face the things that you need to and rise to the occasion of the new you waiting to be birthed. In return, you do the same for them when it’s most appropriate. A good self help group has participants that realize they are the creators of their destiny and that mindset is so important to embracing change in life. Hopefully you’ll find a group that is compassionate and emotionally supportive in a way that honors where you are at emotionally but mirrors to you your own potential to thrive in life.
88. Work with a Healer or Spiritual Mentor
I have found in my journey that there were times that I needed assistance moving past my blind spots and hot spots because I just couldn’t see what was hidden inside of me. Seeing the broader perspective on my “hot issues” was just to hard. In my opinion, a wise healer and Spiritual Mentor, especially when they are highly intuitive, can tap into the wisdom of your Higher Being, Angels and Guides to support you in seeing your challenges and denials through the eyes of love and non-judgment. This is very important in the healing and transformational process because we have to totally put the past behind us– let it rest in PEACE. This can be done by way of love, faith, forgiveness and acceptance of what is among other things. If you’ve been through any trauma in your life or have habits that are life depleting in any way, then working with a healer and/or spiritual mentor could be the breakthrough that your looking for. Again choose wisely. Like finding a good self group, a wise mentor and healer will inspire and influence you back into alignment with your fullest potential. My greatest advice to you, is to know what you want in a healer or Spiritual Mentor and from here you can make wise decisions. Of course, I am always grateful to serve in this capacity and to speak with you about my services.
89. Releasing Suppressed Emotions
Many people suppress their emotions because they’ve been conditioned to believe that crying is a sign of weakness or being angry is not right etc. In another words they judge their emotions as an indicator of their worth and acceptability at times. For some people like myself, it wasn’t always safe to share our emotions because of the atmosphere of anger that was around us growing up. But regardless of the conditions in which we grew up, emotions are meant to be felt. That’s why we have them. From the broader perspective of Divine Wisdom, our emotions are part of our unique guidance system and they help us to experience life to it’s fullest. I’m going to write about our emotional guidance system in the next article series, but just know for now that our emotions are simply indicators of whether or not our words, thoughts and actions are congruent with what our Source Being thinks and feels. They indicate the degree to which we are in alignment with that which we truly desire.
Holding onto suppressed emotions can lead to illness and disease in the body and even become chronic if left unfelt and caged in. Like a lion that is kept in captivity for too long, at some point the lion will rage, attack and have to release its feelings. It’s natural and instinctual in fact to do this. Accepting your emotions and moving through them in a way that feels good to you, is highly beneficial. I’ve written things in my journal that I just had to get off my chest. One time in meditation I asked for healing and this deep sense of rage spued from my loins and voice like a wild raging lion left alone in a cage for months and maybe even years. In any event, I just let it rip like a dam that was broken. I let the water of my emotions go until it was all released. I felt safe in this because no one was home and I was in my sacred space knowing that the release was healing for me. And it truly was rejuvenating. I was able to put the past behind me and feel love even later that day. I had to move through some other emotions first, but it happened quickly as I kept my mind focused on what was next and what I wanted. I’ll explain more about this next week.
For now however, know that it’s better for you to express what you are feeling and see the gifts in what your emotions are offering you. Do it in a way that feels good to you like walking them out, crying in the bathroom, writing in your journal, punching a pillow or even shouting on a roof top. Then ask yourself, what am I thinking or doing that is making me feel this way? Is this the truth from the eyes of my Source Self or God? What limiting belief do I hold about myself that makes me feel this way? What do I truly want in this situation? These questions can often guide you back on the path of least resistance and hopefully, back to feeling unconditional love for yourself. If you feel that you need assistance moving past suppressed emotions, please do not hesitate to contact me. If I feel you need another resource that I can not provide, then I’ll direct you that way.
90. Invoke the Violet Ray or Emerald Ray
There are many Rays of Creation that are available for us to invoke and call forth for our healing and benefit not only personally but on behalf of the planet as well. These are two Rays of Creation that I’ve called upon quite frequently during my times of healing. They have assisted me in releasing and transmuting many patterns and beliefs and I always feel so much better when I use these healing frequencies.
Archangel Raphael is the keeper of the Emerald Ray of Healing. You can call upon him anytime that you wish to heal anything that you desire. Just invoke his name 3 times and state your request. I personally will imagine this Emerald Ray flowing through and around me and just sit in this Divine Grace and Wisdom until I feel a release or shift in my emotions and/or perspective. I’ve also done invocations to assist me with any kind of addictions as I grew up within a family that had many addictions and felt I had some patterns that could be healed as well. This really helped me and I could feel my move toward moderation in life as a new pattern of being.
St. Germaine is an Ascended Master and he is the keeper of the Violet Ray or Flame on Humanity’s behalf. Archangel Zadkiel is also a keeper of this Ray as many other Divine Beings. You can call upon either of these Benevolent Beings of Light at any time of need as well. The Violet Ray is a transmuting Ray out of the Mind of God that works on behalf of Humanity for the purposes of raising our consciousness. It literally transmutes the negative energy into Divine Love or whatever you request it to be transmuted into. I typically invoke this Ray through my Beloved I AM Presence and ask that “xyz” are transmuted into God’s Infinite Love and Abundance. I visualize this Violet Ray at my crown then ask my Higher Self to send this Flame through every part of me. Again I visualize this. Once I’ve visualized this, I then visualize this Flame in my Heart Center and hold it here. I then ask my Higher Self to send this Flame through all of my bodies. I meditate in this Light and just allow the energy to shift.
After invoking these powerful Rays of Light, I set forth my intentions to love myself and to be more impeccable with my words and actions. I keep my mind focused on the good in myself, others and the world or I turn my focus toward my worthy goals, higher ideals and the creation of my vision.  Ultimately, keeping our minds focused on what is most important and in alignment with our purpose is most beneficial and will provide the transformation we are looking for.
