Over the next 20 weeks I will be writing a series of articles entitled 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment that I intend to turn into an expanded book on the subject. I’m writing this series as a commitment to myself, not only to nurture my inner writer, artist, healer, and teacher, but also to step into my power as a purposeful soul who wishes to share her knowledge and wisdom so others may find their inner healers and teachers—or their Source of Inspiration.

Some of these tips are powerfully life enhancing and are truly meant to be practices for soul growth. I call these areas of life mastery that we are here to recall. I’ll point these out along the way. Ideally these are the keys for living an enlightened, joyful life of abundance. The other tips will be what I call uplifting actions that will open the passage way for new beginnings. They are ways to “reach for relief” when times are tough as I learned from the teachings of Abraham–a wise group of non-physical Beings who speak through the conscious channel Ester Hicks. You can find out more about their teachings by visiting their website www.Abraham-Hicks.com. When we take action in a mindful way that attends to our truest needs, we always feel relieved. Actions that “reach for relief,” or thinking that lightens our spirits, all fall in the category of soul re-alignment.

It is my wish that you will attract to you the Healing Tips or inspired actions that will guide you in your journey of transformation. Keep in mind that these are tips that feel good to me and that I feel are life enhancing when taken in moderation. Your greatest resource is always inside of you, so always follow what feels good to you until a solution arises within you. Remember not to escape your problems through this feeling good, but use these tools to come back to a more relaxed, calm you so you can then focus your attention on the solution. All solutions lie within and you have the power to access them. I’ve grown to appreciate these healing methods as my ways of revealing that which is most beneficial for me to act upon, move toward or embrace in my journey. The bottom line is that life is a journey to be explored, so have fun exploring these tips and listen to your guidance in all that you embark upon and experience.

11. Healing with Sound Therapy
Everything is made of sound and light. Science has proven that color has sound or frequency associated with it. Quantum mechanics has proven that when you really look at matter and take it down to the quantum level, that no form truly exist. Just energy and energy is light and sound. I have found in my healing journey that sounds really help me to relax and can calm my nerves as well as uplift my spirits. Not all sound effects me this way, but certainly the ones that are pure, melodic or harmonious do. Solfeggio frequencies have hit the scene of healing as a way to bring balance and harmony to the energy bodies and mind. These ancient sacred tones were used in Gregorian Chants and help to break up negative energy and bring it back into harmony. Lower vibrations cannot exist in higher vibrations. The higher vibrations will literally cause the lower ones to raise up.

You can search on youtube for Solfeggio frequencies and find videos for all kinds of purposes. I like to listen to a CD called Sounds of Meditation by Jim Commander. This CD was developed based upon the work of intuitive channel and prophet Edgar Cayce. Each of the tracks are designed to assist in raising the vibration of the bodies and to assist in balancing the energy systems and chakras. I found a link to a Youtube video that uses Solfeggio frequencies to activate the Higher Mind and for DNA healing. The link is below along with some other CD’s that I like. You can use it while you are meditating or falling asleep at night. Both are healing. This Healing tip can be both a form of lifting your spirits and if used in a meditation practice, can also be a way to awaken to your Spirit. However, it’s important to remember that you are the creator of you own vibration and have the power to change this vibration through your thoughts, feelings and actions. Once you’ve come back into harmony using these tones, it’s important to keep your focus on the good things in life and to be impeccable as you can be with your thoughts and actions. Throughout this article series I will talk about the spiritual truths that awaken us to be the masters of our destiny. This is where true healing takes place. 12. Take a Sea Salt Bath
I particularly love taking a sea salt bath combined with listening to sound therapy. There is just something so soothing about the combination. You can even ask that the water you are being bathed in is blessed by the sound and by your Higher Self or God so that it resonates in your highest good. Sea salt baths are wonderful for stabilizing the energy pathways and auric field (the subtle energy body that exists around your physical body). We all need energy tune ups from time to time and this is a very easy way to reset yourself energetically, emotionally and mentally. It falls under the “self nurturing” category and is highly restorative especially after flying. We actually aren’t meant to be so far off the ground and doing this is not beneficial to our auric field. Taking sea salt baths can be very helpful to frequent flyers.

If you’re having a difficult time emotionally, you can also add organic apple cider vinegar to your bath. About 2 cups for a small tub, 4 cups for larger tubs. I’ve had mentors instruct me to use this during highly emotional times in my journey and I’ve found it to be very restorative and calming. However, a sea salt bath can be just as refreshing. I recommend to add 1 ½ cups of course sea salt for a small tub and up to 3 cups for a large tub. Some people like to recommend a pound of sea salt for one bath. Personally I haven’t noticed any difference when adding more but play around with it. Bless your sea salt though before you add it in tub. Keep the water really warm and soak no longer than 20 minutes. If you start to feel dizzy, get out of the tub and rinse in the shower with tepid water. You’ve just detoxed a little to fast. I know many mentors and people who take frequent sea salt baths to maintain their auric field resonance as a part of their spiritual alignment process. I find that it’s best to take the bath right before bedtime.

13. Increase Your Alkalinity
If you’re not feeling well physically or having chronic health issues, then I would recommend eating a more alkaline diet. Our body is our human filter and it houses our Spirit, our Soul. When we’ve been embroiled in discordant energies, beliefs, patterns of being and thoughts, these negative vibrations pile up in our energetic system and subtle bodies. When we are not conscious enough to sense our own distortion or we are unaware of how things operate in this Universe, then all this distortion and icky energy stuck in our subtle bodies begins to leak into our physical body causing disease. Later in this article series, I will talk about some of the Laws of this Universe and how they play a role in abundant living. For now, know that keeping our body in proper pH balance with an alkaline diet is a great way to assist the body in healing faster and in maintaining a healthy body for life. Our bodies of course will naturally balance the bloods pH levels if we are not eating an alkaline diet. Otherwise, according to what I’ve read, we would die. However, in order for the body to balance it’s pH it must pull what it needs from the organs, bones and tissues. Over time, this is not good for the body.

Keeping your pH levels balanced doesn’t take much effort. Just eat more high alkaline foods and do your best to eliminate stress from your diet. I recommend a book called The Ultimate pH Solution by Michelle Schoffro Cook. It’s an easy read and there is a great chart in the book that will help you to pick foods that are higher in alkalinity. Vegetables, legumes, lemons, limes, grapefruit, raw almonds, avocado are just a few of the many high alkaline foods to choose from. You can also supplement with water that is higher in alkalinity as well. There are waters in the grocery store that have super high alkalinity levels. They’re great for when you’re sick but drink them judiciously when you’re not. You can also buy alkalinity drops to put in your water.

I would recommend that you monitor your pH level with urine strips and test your urine first thing in the morning until you get into flow with the diet that’s in harmony with your body. This article is a great reminder for me to get back into my more alkaline diet! It does wonders for the body’s vitality level and healing response. It also gives my body a healthy glow. This is a life style change and conscious choice to feed your body, mind and SOUL. Your body is your temple. Treat your body with respect and love, and it will love you back.

14. Pranayama and Breath Work
Breath is life. Without oxygen, we would die. When we breathe, we literally are breathing in Life Force that feeds our bodies. Pranayama is an ancient Hindu practice that involves the control of breath to expand the prana or Life Force. It is a form of meditation that assists the body, mind and spirit connection as well. There are many forms of pranayama breath work but each have the benefit of revitalizing the body when done properly. I also find that the focusing on the breath assists me in quieting my mind as my mind has something to focus on. Pranayama almost always has a calming effect on the body. Not only is it assisting you to take in more oxygen, which is vital to the nervous system and body in general, but it also raises your vibration as Life Force is key to the electromagnetic field that supports your subtle bodies and chakra system. It’s no wonder that yogis have been practicing this type of yoga for centuries. We all know that when we are faced with stressful situations, we tend to tense up and our breath becomes more shallow. Repeated stressful situations can cause us to habitually breath in a shallow way thus depriving our body of life giving oxygen and prana. A practice of pranayama breathing can not only help us to retrain our stressful breathing patterns but can also assist us on our path to enlightenment if desired.

15. Be in and Share Your Gratitude and Appreciation:
We’ve all heard that having “the attitude of gratitude” is a great way to attract good things in your life. I believe that this is Divine Wisdom and it’s one of the easiest ways to stay attuned to your heart and well-being. Gratitude and appreciation are emotions that vibrate at a higher frequency. When we feel these emotions, we are sharing the best of who we are as humans and assisting others in seeing that in themselves. Even when I’m really down I can always find SOMETHING to be grateful for. Sometimes it’s my breath or that I have legs and arms. It might be that I’m grateful to live in the land of the free and that I have family that loves me. Once I start to go down this path, by Law of Attraction (the law that like vibration, attracts like vibration), I will begin to attract to me other things that I’m grateful for. A gratitude and appreciation rampage can be very healing and revitalizing. I’ve had times when my sinuses would open up, or my body would feel more limber just by saying thank you. Thank your bodies everyday for the miracle of life. You can even end your day with a Gratitude Journal where you list out all the things you are grateful for. Go where you can go in the journal. If it’s only that you’re grateful to be alive and breathing then write that 10 times. Other thoughts will begin to come to you and you’ll go to bed feeling good which will help you to wake up feeling good the next day.
