butterfly-totem-temp-300Over the next 20 weeks I will be writing a series of articles entitled 100 Healing Tips for Personal Transformation and Upliftment that I intend to turn into an expanded book on the subject. Some of these tips are powerfully life enhancing and are truly meant to be practiced for soul growth. I call these areas of life mastery that we are here to recall. I’ll point these out along the way. Ideally these are the keys for living an enlightened, joyful life of abundance. The other tips will be what I call uplifting actions that will open the passage way for new beginnings. They are ways to “reach for relief” when times are tough as I learned from the teachings of Abraham–a wise group of non-physical Beings who speak through the conscious channel Ester Hicks. You can find out more about their teachings by visiting their website www.Abraham-Hicks.com. When we take action in a mindful way that attends to our truest needs, we always feel relieved. Actions that “reach for relief,” or thinking that lightens our spirits, all fall in the category of soul re-alignment.

It is my wish that you will attract to you the Healing Tips or inspired actions that will guide you in your journey of transformation. Keep in mind that these are tips that feel good to me and that I feel are life enhancing when taken in moderation. Your greatest resource is always inside of you, so always follow what feels good to you until a solution arises within you. Remember not to escape your problems through this feeling good, but use these tools to come back to a more relaxed, calm you so you can then focus your attention on the solution. All solutions lie within and you have the power to access them. I’ve grown to appreciate these healing methods as my ways of revealing that which is most beneficial for me to act upon, move toward or embrace in my journey. The bottom line is that life is a journey to be explored, so have fun exploring these tips and listen to your guidance in all that you embark upon and experience.

31. Drink Pure Water that is Blessed or Bless the Water in Your Body
Water is essential to all life. It is estimated that our bodies contain from 70 to 90 percent water. Water is essential for all of our organs and cells to be healthy. Just drinking sufficient amounts of pure water everyday is healing in and of itself. To determine the amount of water that is beneficial for you each day, take your body weight and divide it in half. This is the amount of water in ounces that is recommended for you to maintain a healthy, vital body.

Drinking water that is blessed or charged in some way with an intent, word or sound is even more advantageous. According to the scientist Masaru Emoto, the author of The Healing Power of Water, the molecular structure of water changes when water is blessed or exposed to words, intents or sounds. Below are pictures from Emoto’s work that I found online that illustrate what happens to water when it is exposed to certain words or phrases.

You can see by the pictures that the water charged with positive words or prayers forms a beautiful crystalline structure like a snowflake. The water that is imprinted with no prayer or negative words, has no form and looks chaotic.

According to my Higher Power, water contains the essential nature to thrive on its own but water that is blessed clarifies the aura and resonance when we are exposed to it. Similarly, we can simply bless the water in our bodies everyday that it contain the vibration of Love, Peace, Harmony or whatever is most beneficial to us. Equally important to recognize, is the value of keeping our words that we speak as positive as possible so that the water in our bodies is imprinted with positive vibes.

I actually have a glass bottle with the symbol of OM on it. The bottle is pink as well. Both the vibration of OM and Pink Light are infused into my water. Om is the primordial sound of the Universe and Pink Light represents Universal Love. But you can just write words on your bottles of water with a Sharpie and it will have the same effect. I’ve even seen in some stores little clear stickers that you can buy that are like window decals. These are great because you can remove them and play around with the different words or phrases. I believe that drinking positively charged water has a positive effect on my vibration, health and well-being.

32. Using Essential Oils
I recently attended an essential oil class where I learned why essential oils are so effective in alternative healing. Basically, your olfactory senses are very powerful and when you smell essential oils, the smell hits the brain a lot faster than if you were to ingest medicine or even herbal tinctures. There is so much to learn about essential oils but suffice it to say, I have seen positive results when using them. Essential oils are a part of nature and as such they work with the elements that everything in the Universe is made of–fire, water, air and earth. The Creator of all Life literally gave us everything that we needed to cure any disease if we should need it. At least this is my belief.

Essential oils can be used for all kinds of ailments from healing colds and infections, boosting the metabolism, helping with weight loss, clearing allergy symptoms, increasing the libido and decreasing sexual impotency, clarity and focus of the mind, calming the nerves and much, much more. I would recommend that you find an essential oil practitioner that has worked with oils and its effects for some time. There is a delicacy in the mixing of them and also it’s best to purchase pure essential oils since many of the over the counter kinds are enhanced with synthetics. My husband, who is not inclined to use alternative healing, went to a workshop with me and his sinuses cleared up within a few minutes just from inhaling what Ronit was diffusing in the room. She sells this oil blend for allergies to individuals along with many others. She also does private consultations both in person and remotely.

33. Ground Your Body
Making sure that you are “grounded in your body” is so very important for your overall sense of balance and well-being. When we are up in our head all day and the world is spinning around us, we tend to lose touch with the intrinsic nature of balance and well-being. We can literally feel out of our bodies or top heavy. When this happens we typically feel overwhelmed and may have symptoms of memory loss, vertigo, foggy mind and fatigue just to name a few. Taking time to “ground back into your body” is easy and doesn’t take long at all. The benefits of this is that it will change your point of view from a fight or flight one, to a more stable, grounded one. I feel that doing these simple grounding exercises can bring instant stability to the mind and body. So try them out and see how you feel.

Go outside and hug a tree: Hugging a tree can totally re-energize your body. You can actually ask the tree to assist you in optimally grounding your body and restore balance to your energy with the help of your Spirit.
Take a walk outside: If you’re too shy to hug a tree in public, walking outdoors can provide similar results especially if you ask your Spirit and Mother Earth to help you to restore and refresh you energy to optimal levels.
Imagine that you have roots growing from the bottoms of your feet all the way down into the center of the Earth. Breathe deeply while doing this. Breathing will also assist with restoring balance and reducing stress.

If you’re still having symptoms of feeling off-balanced, then I would recommend that you see an intuitive healer like myself or someone similar, who can guide you around the emotional or mental issues underlying your issue. Most likely you have an imbalance in your first and/or second chakras that requires some intuitive counseling.

34. Exercise Regularly in Anyway
This is nothing new and you’ve all heard this before but for some of us it’s become a habit NOT to exercise. Exercise is an easy way to uplift your mood. It’s proven by science that exercise stimulates the production of anti-stress hormones that literally make us feel more empowered and happier. I feel it’s important to pick a form of exercise that really feels good to you. Maybe it’s something that is fun like zumba or roller skating. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to do ballet or yoga. Simple walks outside can be a first step to refreshing your body and mind. See exercise as a way to honor, nurture and love yourself more and know that you’re WORTH IT.

But what stops us from exercising? Many of us feel we don’t have time in our busy schedules or that it’s just too hard to get out there and do it. There have been times when I really didn’t feel well enough to exercise so I allowed myself this rest. These days I never rest for too long because I know the value of keeping my Chi (life force) vibrant. Check in with your schedule and lean it up somehow so you can find 20 minutes 5-7 days a week to do some form of movement that you would enjoy. You can even start with just 3 days a week and work up to 5 or 7. Starting with something easy that you KNOW you can commit to regularly is most important.

If you’ve been struggling with your weight for a long period of time, there is no shame in this. There may be some underlying emotional issues that you are here on Earth to resolve in this life time. Again, working with an intuitive counselor can also help you to release and resolve the underlying stories that keep you in this pattern. Whatever the reason is for not exercising, there is always a solution and your Higher Power knows what it is. Life is meant to be fun and you’re Spirit knows what would be ideal for you and how to best serve you in building your strength and will to change. Meditate on the underlying causes of your resistance to exercise. Be patient and trust that the answer will arise within you in it’s appropriate time.

35. Find Out What it is that You are Trying to Avoid
I read an article once by Susanna Barlow about the 5 stages of healing that I agree with. You can access that full article here:

In this article she states that the first stage of healing any emotional issue is to ask yourself what you are trying to avoid. Many times we stuff our emotions and these emotions remain unresolved for years. Basically we found a way to “reach for relief” that became a habit that is now non-life enhancing. An example of this might be watching too much television to avoid a difficult life circumstance. This form of relief served you at the time as a coping mechanism for a struggle that you were having in your life that most likely related to a sense of powerlessness or maybe even something deeper like a difficult confrontation about sexual abuse or alcoholism in your life.

Keep in mind that finding out what your avoiding is not about judgement. In fact it’s about resolution of the inner conflict that you are having with the most powerful, joyful, abundant, thrilled-to-be-alive part of you. We all have fears. It’s part of our duality consciousness, especially the fear of the unknown. But the more you uncover the True Grace and Loving Power that is within you, these issues of avoidance will begin to change. You can choose to go deep into your heart in a journaling exercise and ask yourself this question. Ask your Higher Power to assist you in this. Make it a private time when you will not be disturbed. If you are still having issues getting to the bottom of what you are avoiding, then I would recommend that you try a hypnotherapist, psychiatrist, an intuitive counselor or practitioner of your choice to assist you. The bottom line is, that once you discover what you are avoiding, you can then empower to change this. Changing this literally will tell the parts of you that were scared at the time, that you are now safe.

In my journey, I used alcohol as a means to hide my pain and to avoid feeling bad. I used it as a form of “reaching for relief”. But what I later realized is that I was also avoiding speaking my truth and I was afraid to be different than my family and even society. There can of course be layers to your avoidance, but start with what comes up first. Your Higher Power will be there to guide you through the release of the feelings you stuffed away. Believe me, this new sense of power is so healing that you’ll never be able to go back to the way that you were. You’ll just FEEL yourself out of alignment with who you really ARE.
